Emma Pilkington

I am a speech and language therapist working for the NHS with people who have acquired communication and swallowing difficulties. I am also a researcher with a PhD that investigated word processing difficulties after stroke.

I work across clinical, research and teaching settings. I am interested in language processing and acquired neurology, especially stroke, and how therapy supports recovery and rehabilitation.

I have written my website so that it is accessible for all. If you would like to know more about a certain aspect of my work please review the different pages of my website or contact me.

Find me on twitter, linkedin, and researchgate, or email me: emma.c.pilkington at hotmail.co.uk
