I was awarded a doctoral research prize in June 2019 from the University of Reading Graduate school. This prize recognises students who have made strong research contributions in the form of research papers and conference publications throughout the duration of their doctoral studies. As part of this award, I was given the opportunity to present my PhD research at a University wide conference in June 2019.

In 2015 I was awarded a fellowship from the Stroke Association which supported me to undertake a PhD. These fellowships are awarded annually to one or two individuals, enabling outstanding graduates to embark on a research career. I am extremely grateful to the Stroke Association and their research team for their support of my research.
